Dr. Arpita was invited as a speaker at the National Conference on Quantum Biotechnology, IIT Bombay, where she delivered her talk on “From Fixed Footprints to Live Folds: NV-Centre Quantum Sensing of Oxidative Damage and RNA Structural Plasticity in Glioblastoma”.
The talk walked through why glioblastoma resistance hides from conventional tools, how NV-centre T1 relaxometry in nanodiamonds reads oxidative stress inside living cells, and what this quantum sensor for the cell makes it possible to check - work done with Prof. Kasturi Saha, Prof. Abhijit Majumder and Prof. Siddharth Tallur (IIT Bombay).
